LE PETIT CIRQUE

French singer and songwriter Pomme, accompanied by a string quartet and four dancers, brings her album Saisons to life in a new creation conceived with circus artists Marie and Yoann Bourgeois.
A celebration of nature designed for children and those who still feel part of the children’s realm, Le Petit Cirque extends on stage the experience of an album where the author and composer unfold a cycle of delicate melodies and songs, adapting to the rhythm of the seasons. Written jointly with Marie and Yoann Bourgeois, the show follows a character throughout their life and imagines a world where humans and nature could coexist. Each season accentuates a natural element, a colour palette, and a phenomenon. The artists have therefore imagined a circular and rotating stage with the appearance of a traditional circus ring, offering a multiplicity of viewpoints and a play on centrifugal force and gravity. Magic, circus, music, and dance occupy the ring with poetry and lightness.
